Managed a team of developers to create a web based application to manage contracts and vendors for their clients.  This application is the core of Maplestreet’s business and has been successfully implemented for use with 11 banks and credit unions.

ProKick (www.usopen-karate.com)
Supervised a team to develop an application to allow online registrations, merchant processing, inventory management and management of events for the US Karate Open.

Senior Developer, In April 2004, MNTG was purchased by Analytic Data Systems Inc.  My primary project was the development of Lonestar, a dynamic data collection system that allows customers to manage their data collection forms. I was part of this project from conception to completion and provided continuing maintenance.

Selected Contributions:
  • Designed & developed Lonestar, using ColdFusion 6 & SQL Server 2000.
  • Designed & developed a payroll system for an employee leasing company.

lSenior Developer, For the duration of my employment I was assigned as the Technical Team Lead of the Solect/Bell Canada project. Bell Canada’s web site was revised to include on-line purchasing and installation scheduling for telecom and broadband systems.

Selected Contributions:
  •  Maintained Oracle development databases.
  • Created extensive PL/SQL packages and procedures.
  •  Performed SQL tuning using SQL Trace & Tkprof.
  •  Created a Java/JDBC interface to legacy systems.
  •  This project utilized my skills in Oracle, HTML, Javascript, Java, PL/SQL, JDBC & Perl

Senior Analyst, I provided phone support for the RDBMS (Relation Database Management System) group.  As a Senior Technical Analyst / Team Lead, I managed a team of 12 analysts.  I would manage training, scheduling, mentoring, and performance evaluations for each team member.

  • Conducted training sessions on emerging Oracle technology including: RMAN, Intermedia, and database tuning.
  • Composed white papers on subjects including PL/SQL, SQL loader, block corruption, and table sizing.
  • Assisted clients with Oracle DBA issues involving research, analysis, and providing resolutions to Oracle support customers.

Programmer Analyst II, ORHS was a great initial opportunity for starting my career in information technology.  I gained experience in technologies, ranging from IBM mainframes and UNIX to Oracle.

  • Installed and configured Oracle databases.
  • Converted legacy systems to an Oracle database.
  • Maintained Cloverleaf, an interface engine connecting multiple systems and passing data in real time.
